How should I wash my sheets?
Machine wash warm, non-chlorine bleach only, tumble dry medium.
How do I minimize oil staining?
- Use a professional quality water dispersible oil. (see below)
- Wash your sheets the same day you use them. The longer they sit the more the oil stain will set.
- Sunlight, Heat, and Oxygen sets oil stains. Keep your used sheets in a black plastic bag with a
minimum of air in the bag. Store used sheets in a cool place until you get to clean them. Don't
leave in your car trunk to bake in the sun!

I am just starting a practice, what do I need?
Congratulations on starting your own business! It is a big step and well worth the effort. Many Massage
Therapists have asked us what they need for sheets. Not knowing what your style of massage is or the type of table
you have, I can only tell you what I used.

I have a table with an adjustable crescent face cradle. FYI, you need to be able to adjust the neck angle for each
client. This is very important. We do not recommend tables with a "face hole" since you cannot adjust the neck
angle and that can result in a client injury!
I use our Crescent Face Cradle Cover, along
with our Drape Face Cradle Cover on top. I change the
Drape Cover after every client and the Crescent Cover at the end of each day (or if a client had lots of makeup,
is sick, or uses perfume).
Because I did up to 5 clients in a day, I kept 5 Drape Face Cradle Covers to every Crescent Face Cradle Cover,
and recommend
having 3 days worth of sheets. (This would be 15 sets!) To start, you can get by with two days worth of items.
As an example, if you plan on having 4 clients a day, I would recommend you have at a minimum to start:
For oil I highly recommend Pure Pro "Ultra" or "Natural Treasures" massage oil. They are unscented and wash out well.
I had two small pump bottles in my office, one on each side of the table for easy access. I have
found "hip holsters" or any other way of attaching the oil bottle to my body distracting to my work. Keep it simple.
